Mr. Harnett handled many other breeds in addition to Boxers. He was often seen with the Top Irish as well as a group winning Boxer.
In the mid-1930s, Harnett had shown Sigurd for Mrs. Young (Breed) of Barmere to the then unprecedented record of eighty-four BOB, forty-three Group Firsts, and two BIS all-breeds.
He then took over the Sumbula Boxers for the Palmedos, going breed at the first four ABC specialties with Corso ('36 & '37) and Biene ('38 & '39). Biene was the epitome of Boxer bitches of her day and the first BIS bitch to gather a previously-unheard-of four BIS in her career.
Mr. Harnett died in 1944.
